Mickey Meal Prep started as Mickey Tavern—Springfield's go-to spot for great food, handcrafted cocktails, and unforgettable gatherings.

We've always been about more than food and drinks—we create experiences that bring people together through OUR hospitality, comfort, and connection.

The name "Mickey's" comes from a beloved rescue dog adopted from the Nebraska Humane Society who quickly became much more than a family pet. Even after Mickey passed in 2024, his joyful spirit remains at the heart of everything we do: welcoming, dependable, and always focused on making people feel at home.

As we got to know our guests, we saw a gap: people loved gathering at Mickey’s, but struggled to prepare healthy meals at home between work, family, and the demands of day‑to‑day life.

That’s where the idea for Mickey’s food prep business came to life.

We now offer fresh, thoughtfully prepared meals that are convenient and better for you—a natural extension of our commitment to hospitality. It's for anyone who wants to eat well but does NOT have time to plan, shop, and cook.
